Ballistica is a calculation tool for sport shooting and hunting. It predicts trajectories with a 3D point-mass model using standard drag models (G1, G5, G7, G8) or custom drag curves. Real results vary with the rifle, the ammunition, the conditions, and the shooter. Confirm every prediction with real shots before you rely on it.
Some features are estimates by design: hit probability, wind brackets, readings from your device's barometer and motion sensors, and weather data from Apple Weather. The optional hunting energy and velocity figures are common rules of thumb. They are not legal requirements and not a guarantee of an ethical or effective shot. Follow the hunting laws and regulations where you shoot.
Safety: Always follow safe firearm handling practices and the rules of your range. Never rely solely on a ballistic calculator. You are fully responsible for every shot you take.
Ballistica Pro is a one-time purchase that unlocks additional features for as long as you use the app. It is not a subscription and does not renew. Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase. Pro can be restored on your other devices with Restore Purchases.
Ballistica does not require an account. How your data is handled is described in the Privacy Policy.
